Valkyrie’s are a group of maidens who serve the God of Odin and were sent by him to the battlefields to choose the slain who were worthy of a place in Valhalla. Some Valkyries had the power to cause the death of the warriors they did not favor; others, especially heroine Valkyries, guarded the lives of those dear to them. Deutsch Drahthaars are versatile hunting dogs. They are noted for their endurance and willingness to obey, as well as the ability to concentrate on the work at hand. Drahthaars can hunt any and all game from upland, waterfowl, big game, and predators. Not only are they great hunting companions, but they are also amazing family dogs as well.
