ABOUT US

We have been raising, testing, and hunting Deutsch Drahthaars since 2015. With their calmness and off switch in the house and non-stop versatile hunting ability in the field, the DD is the dog that fits our lifestyle the best.

The thing that excites us the most about this breed is their versatility. Before we had a DD, we mainly hunted waterfowl, but now we hunt anything and everything with these dogs. The great thing is we can go hunt waterfowl in the morning and upland later in the day or go track a deer for a friend or family member. No matter the task, the DD will get it done for you.

Currently, we own 4 dogs: Danica vom Cabin Creek, Gretta vom Cabin Creek, Ace vom Valkyrie, and Licah vom Cabin Creek. We hunt everything from dove, quail, ducks, geese, chukar, pheasant, and deer with our dogs, with the occasional predator. We mainly hunt in Northern California and Nevada.
